About
My name is Lilla Csefalvay. I am a ceramic artist and textile designer working in my home studio in Budapest, Hungary.
I make functional tableware on the wheel and by slip casting. Lately I have been experimenting with combining my two passions: textile and ceramic design.
After graduating from fashion design and working in the fashion industry for years, I have accidentally found ceramics in 2016. I wanted to find myself a hobby that I can practice after hours, so I enrolled in my very first pottery course in the local arts centre. I got hooked instantly, but it took me another couple of years to fully commit to making ceramics full time.
